Make Peace with Food

No More Diets!

Mindful eating simply means paying attention to the experience of eating without judgment.  It allows everybody to tap into their own wisdom about what foods to eat, how much to eat, when to eat, and when to stop eating. There are no good foods or bad foods, no rules to memorize, no guilt or shame, no SMART goals, and no food journals. Mindful eating is not a diet or a weight loss method, but rather a way to step into greater awareness and pleasure around eating.

Make Peace with Food: 4-week Mindful eating Classes

In these classes, students meet once a week for a 90-minute session full of experiential learning. Each session begins with a grounding meditation followed by a review of home practice, mindful eating experience, and group discussion. Students are encouraged to practice mindful eating out in the real world and bring their observations back for discussion. This class is open to all adults ages 18 and over.
